The National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition is a tiered competition that has evolved from 5 schools in 2005 to over 230 colleges and universities across the Nation (Qualifiers, Regionals, and Nationals).   As the deficit of talent within cyber defense continues to expand, so does the interest and awareness of NCCDC in commercial and government entities.  We are actively seeking sponsorship partners to help support NCCDC.  We accept sponsorship in the form of money, time, hardware, software, and a variety of in-kind donations.  As a sponsor NCCDC enables companies such as yourself to showcase what makes you stand-out among other potential employers.  Resumes are distributed to the top two sponsorship packages accordingly, (Gold and Platinum only

3. Keynote Video Loop (30 second sponsor-provided content may be added to our video loop played during NCCDC awards ceremony)
4. Keynote exposure – A slide with your company logo looped before the keynote presentation

The entire CCDC program is supported through the generosity of its donors. The Supporter level is $5k and includes the following benefits:

• Digital logo loop in the NCCDC lounge throughout the competition
• Logo on all digital signage
• Recognition via social media platforms through end of the regular season
• Invitation to the NCCDC recruiting mixer on the evening of Day 2
• Opportunity to provide swag or printed materials in the official NCCDC backpack for all competitors and coaches

Founded in 2004, the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition has motivated educational institutions to offer students an opportunity to gain practical experience in information assurance by participating in competitions. This has proven to be successful as students from past competition have been hired into everything from intern and part time to full time positions. Several companies have taken advantage of recruiting from the teams, including Boeing, who was a major sponsor of the West Coast CCDC regional for the 2009 season. Boeing created cyber security positions for and hired all six graduating members of the Cal Poly Pomona Cyber Security Team that competed and won the regional CCDC and competed in the National CCDC. This shows the level of commitment that these students are putting forth to enhance their education and skills in cyber security and information assurance.

At the national competition each year we host a recruiting event designed to link the participants with potential employers. Our sponsors are invited and encouraged to attend this unique opportunity to meet and recruit from some of the best computer security and information assurance students in the country. We ask the participants to bring their resumes and to be prepared to network with potential employers.
